FJÄDRUNDALAND - HOME OF OUR FACTORY!

Fjärdhundraland is an area in Uppland rich in history, nature and agricultural heritage. Fjärdhundraland stretches from Enköping in the north to Morgongåva in the south, and from Grillby in the west to Uppsala in the east.

Fjärdhundraland is an oasis that offers a diversity of scenic experiences. The silent forests, the sparkling lakes, and the vast landscape provide incredible opportunities to experience nature in various ways.

Right next to our factory in Bålsta, you can also find Skokloster Castle, which was built by the statesman Carl Gustaf Wrangel as early as the 1650s and is today a well-visited cultural heritage site.

The roots of agriculture in Fjärdhundraland stretch back to ancient times. People have cultivated the land and raised animals here for thousands of years. The soil in Fjärdhundraland, which varies from clay to sandy soil, has been crucial for fruitful cultivation. Wheat, barley, oats and rye, along with root vegetables such as potatoes and carrots, have been grown for countless generations.

Cows have always had a special place in Fjärdhundraland's agriculture. The importance of cows extends far beyond milk and meat. They have been, and still are, the heart of agriculture. Their grazing has shaped the characteristic Fjärdhundraland landscape with green meadows and red cottages.

At Njord Pet, we are happy to establish our own dog chew factory in Fjärdhundraland and become part of the future development, naturally with a continued focus on local agriculture and nature.

Kind regards,
Eric & Pontus
